Governor’s Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Releases PSA at Towson Tigers vs. Gallaudet Bison Basketball Game

The Maryland Governor’s Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing released a Public Service Announcement on the large screen during the Towson Tigers vs. Gallaudet Bison basketball game on November 25, 2015. Director Kelby Brick discussed Maryland’s Deaf and hard of hearing population and how to grow the Maryland economy.

In addition to the PSA, the Office supported the game by arranging different announcements to be displayed on the large screen above the basketball court. Announcements were related to Maryland’s Deaf and hard of hearing community. Towson University’s Athletic Director presented a ball to Director Brick thanking the Office’s support and participation in the game. Former Miss Deaf America and former Miss Deaf Maryland Chanel Gleicher signed the National Anthem. Over 1,137 patrons attended the game at Towson’s SECU Arena.
