Paige Bradford

Dr. Paige Bradford is an experienced special educator with over ten years of experience in the field. She has served as the Section Chief of Specialized Instruction for MSDE since 2022. She previously served as an autism and behavior specialist for Alexandria City Public Schools in Alexandria, Virginia, where she worked to support teachers, staff, and students with significant disabilities and complex support needs within the division. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in supporting students with complex support needs and multi-sensory loss, as well as in supporting the meaningful inclusion of all students in the general education classroom setting. In her prior roles, Dr. Bradford served as a teacher for students with severe disabilities as well as an inclusive co-teacher for students with diverse needs and learning styles. She has significant experience in the areas of DeafBlindness, Blindness, CVI, Intellectual Disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, and learning disabilities. Through her dissertation research at The George Washington University, Dr. Bradford worked to investigate how teachers and school staff members support students with complex support needs (including DeafBlindness) in accessing both the general education academic curriculum as well as social opportunities.
