Best Time to Share Information with Our Office

To meet the statutory requirement under § 9–2403(7) – serving as an information clearinghouse on the needs and issues affecting Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals — the Office encourages organizations, departments, and agencies to share updates whenever documents, resources, or policies are revised. At a minimum, we recommend submitting updates every 6 months to one year to ensure information remains current, accurate, and accessible for the communities we serve.

Regular updates allow the Office to:

  • Maintain an up-to-date clearinghouse
  • Share accurate information with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community
  • Strengthen coordination across agencies
