As of May 13, 2025, the Maryland Sign Language Interpreters Act is set to take effect on January 1, 2026. You can find the official regulations published on the Division of State Documents (DSD) website. There will be a 30-day public comment period from May 16 to June 16, 2025.

Please note that, as of May 13, 2025, the Interpreter Licensure Portal is not yet open. Be sure to check back frequently for updates.
