Allegra Hollins

Allegra Hollins is the Director of the Office of Fair Practices at the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD), where she oversees the Department’s Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Socioeconomic Programs. She has more than a decade of experience in the civil rights field and is committed to advancing equity, compliance, and fair employment practices.

Allegra earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, with a minor in Mathematics from Xavier University of Louisiana and holds several professional certifications. Since 2022, she has served as a Council Member of the Maryland Advisory Council on the Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing.

A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Allegra enjoys spending quality time with her family, camping, and cruising when she is not at work.
