Senior Citizens

There are many resources available for senior citizens on housing, health, financial assistance and more. In Maryland, the Maryland Department of Aging protects the rights and quality of life of older persons in the state. The Department of Aging administers programs and funds through local area agencies.

Maryland Deaf Senior Citizens, Inc. is an educational and social organization of and for Deaf and hard of hearing senior citizens in Maryland. Membership is also open to residents of the Washington Metropolitan Area. The method of communication during these gatherings is primarily American Sign Language.
